Warm up for the March 2017 conference!
Get your middle grade or young adult manuscript in shape!
Join us for a manuscript critique workshop led by our Published and Listed (PAL) members. The workshop begins with a panel discussion on giving and receiving critiques. Attendees will then break into small groups to critique each other’s manuscripts, with each round table moderated by one of our PAL members. We will also have a brief pitch workshop led by PAL members, after which attendees will return to their small groups to provide feedback on each other’s pitches.

Cost to attend the CritiqueFest is $45 for members, $65 for non-members. Please register by November 4, 2016.

Round Tables:
Each attendee will bring 5 copies of a section of his or her MG or YA manuscript—a maximum of 500-700 words. THERE WILL NOT BE A PRINTER ONSITE. Please print your copies prior to the workshop.
Before the critique time begins, each author will pass out his or her manuscript to those in the small group. A different author will read the manuscript aloud and all at the table, including a PAL member, will provide feedback.
Individual Additional Critiques (Optional):
Manuscripts must be received by Noon, Wednesday, October 12, 2016. You will receive a confirmation email.
