REGISTRATION:  Registration will close on Thursday, September 11 at 11:59 pm EDT. A registration form should appear at the bottom of this page. Through the deadline, the cost is $110 for members, $130 for non-members, $45 for a manuscript critique or portfolio review, and $50 for a Sunday intensive. After September 11, a decision will be made whether to accept walk ins at the conference venue. In any case, walk ins will cost an additional $10 fee per day. 

Payment is by PayPal or check only. Our March conference revealed many glitches with the new online system. This is a one-day event on Saturday with separate intensives on Sunday. Registration for the one-day conference is required for intensive registration. Please note:  no more spots are available for Kirsten Hall's intensive.

ADDING AN INTENSIVE AFTER YOUR INITIAL REGISTRATION:  If you have registered without signing up for an intensive, it's not too late. Email mddewv@scbwi.org with the name of the intensive you want to take, and then mail your check for $50 made out to MD/DE/WV SCBWI and noting the workshop name to the address above.

Please note: You may not sign up for an intensive alone.  You must be registered for the Saturday program.  

SCHOLARSHIPIn memory of longtime volunteer Jack Reid, the MD/DE/WV SCBWI Region offers two scholarships (one for a writer and one for an illustrator) to the annual 2-day September conference. This year's event will take place Sept. 20 and 21, 2014. The deadline for application is past.

NOTE: All manuscript critiques and protfolio reviews on a first come-first served basis. No assignments will be made for second ciritiques unless slots are still available after the August 22 deadline. Watch for an email aanouncement about availability.
